It was a long and interesting weekend; I first went Saturday to see the Solemn Procession of the Miraculous Image of Sto. Niño, it was packed with thousands and thousands of people. After a good nights rest I woke up to the day got dressed and headed to the Sinulog Grand Parade. All I can say is wow… this was a jam packed Parade with colorful costumes and great chorography. Security was very present and if you are the observant type and don’t show off your cash or flash all will be good; you do need to be aware of anyone bumping up to you as many pick pockets aligned the streets; but over all it was a great event and I would recommend any adventurous tourist to see it at least once in their life time. LEARNING MAGIC AT CAGAYAN DE ORO

I recently took a trip to see a sick friend at Cagayan located about 40 minutes by plan from Cebu. Though it was a sad trip I got to see a few things that brightened my day; such as learning magic in the mall, well maybe not learning but we had fun. I will be posting more of the trip such as the damages caused by the December 17th Typhoon that killed at least 327 people and one of the hotels we stopped to get a drink at. New Years at Imperial Palace Resort and Spa; the year has gone by so fast, now 2012 the year of the dragon. I have been in Mactan Philippines for 6 months now and life is extremely different from any other place. Most of the video was taken on the roof of Imperial palace resort and spa in Mactan, Cebu Philippines. It was a great party and we wish all a great new year to come. Christmas has come and gone once again and most of the partiers are looking towards new years; yesterday our managers had a team building excursion that turned out to be a very nice event. A yacht was sailed between Cebu and Mactan Island Philippines with live music, food and spirits. It’s very rare that a few ordinary hard working people get a chance to experience the peacefulness and joy of yachting around the islands. It was a great experience and very much appreciated; after the cruise we all headed do the Cebu Yacht Club for dinner and gift exchanges, finally a few of us ended up at Magellan’s for a few drinks to complete the night, it was a fun night.

CHRISTMAS DAY IN CEBU

Woke up around 8:30am wondering what to do on Christmas Day; today was no ordinary Christmas day, no gifts, no children, no big dinners and no family, just me in the hotel room in MACTAN Philippines. Got up, took a shower and got a taxi to Marina Mall in MACTAN; almost all the businesses where closed except for Starbucks, after my coffee and cake I headed for Marco Polo Hotel located on the other side of Cebu, the buffet looked good for Christmas and the Lobby was decorated in a nice fashion. After filming the Buffet I ended up at IT Park at a place called MOON Café for a late lunch; ended up having a few San Miguel Lights and started putting together the Video I filmed. Presently I’m in Rajah Park Hotel in Cebu having a San Miguel light due to everything else being closed and typing this Xmas note. This whole thing may seem sad to most, but honestly how many people can say they are sitting in the middle of Cebu Philippines learning about different cultures and enjoying the Beautiful People. Life is a struggle and the Filipino’s struggle daily; NO wonder Christmas is so important to them; it gives them hope that maybe one day they will receive more in life. DON’T waste your life sitting in your comfortable place doing nothing “GO OUT AND EXPLORE” we all know how short life is. This is Bradleym at stuckincebu.com. This is the Cebu Yacht Club located across Marina Mall in Cebu Philippines. It’s a nice getaway if you have time to walk along the pier and take in the sights. They have a small restaurant named the VUE, they offer a buffet for 500 peso’s per person with one Alcoholic drink included. After the walk you can go across the street to Marina Mall and do some shopping; Marina Mall also has a pharmacy that is open 24 hours with food and general supplies.

DECEMBER 17TH tonight is the night that Magellan’s raffles off a scooter for the YOUNG LIFE FOUNDATION; they also are offering a calendar for 400 Peso’s to  support the youth. It’s nice to see an establishment giving back to the community.  It’s 7:10pm and the night is young. Personally I have purchased P5200 of raffle tickets; eating french fries drinking a little San Mig Light and enjoying the night. I will update this post through the night.

The next morning realizing I did not win the scooter but had a good time; Raymond the bartender won the scooter hummmmmm; anyway life is good, I’m at SM mall in Cebu city now getting ready to see the new Mission Impossible movie.  Let you all now if it’s worth seeing later.

IMPERIAL PALACE RESORT ENGINEERING TEAM

I have been to many Christmas parties in my time but I have to say I will not forget this

one soon; each of the resorts work divisions had a dance competition the theme was

“PROM NIGHT”.  Engineering was number 1 last year and had much pressure to repeat

another great performance.  Most of the divisions started rehearsing a few weeks ago,

while Engineering was still not sure on what they wanted to do and who would be the

choreographer.  Engineering only had 3 days of practice due to a tight work schedule

and the arrangement of available time with the choreographer.  Yes we did not get 1st

place this year but we did get 2nd place which was great considering we only had 3

days to put it together.  I will be posting most of the other division’s performances over

the next week; trust me you will laugh.
